(Virginia Beach, VA) June 26, 2007 – AMSEC LLC has promoted David A. Streett from division manager of the logistics division to director of operations for the logistics and engineering services operation.  Streett will be responsible for all aspects of the $90M enterprise managing more than 800 employees – logisticians, engineers, analysts, training specialists, warehousemen, and business development professionals.  AMSEC LLC is a Virginia Beach company that provides a broad range of engineering and technical services to the Department of Defense, as well as the commercial maritime industry.

Streett brings over two decades of shipbuilding experience from Newport News Shipbuilding and AMSEC LLC to this position.  Streett received his bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from Averett University.
