AMSEC LLC NAMES KELLY CARLAN DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES (Virginia Beach, VA) June 26, 2007 – AMSEC LLC has promoted Kelly J. Carlan from deputy director of human resources to director of human resources. She is responsible for overseeing human resources activities including benefits, compensation, staffing, employee relations, and operations, for over 2,400 employees in more than 22 locations worldwide. "Kelly has been a motivating force in the development of human resources as a strategic partner to executive management, former parent companies Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and Northrop Grumman Newport News,” said Harris Leonard, AMSEC LLC´s president. “Kelly has done a magnificent job and has played a key role in the success of AMSEC LLC since she joined our company.” Carlan received her bachelor´s degree from Old Dominion University and is currently pursuing a masters of business administration.
