The Digital Products Management Activity (DPMA) provides 10 years of experience in various services that support the capture, conversion, bundling, and delivery of information in a digital format. The range of services include: conversion/scanning of existing paper or microfiche products, optical character recognition, clean up, editing, enhancements, and indexing.
The DPMA’s primary function is to support NAVSEA in the management of digital libraries and associated search indices for the Advanced Technical Information Support (ATIS) system.

In addition to specialized software developed at AMSEC LLC the DPMA employs the following for capturing and converting information: ARTS Import, Ascent 3.0, Adobe Acrobat, BCL FreeBird, Imagemax 1.31, Image Center, IdealScan Scandex, Textbridge 9.0, TRIX Drawing Center, TRIX Raster Server Conversion, Visual Basic, Wang Imaging.
