Instructor-Led and Computer Based Training

Training encompasses a variety of different development and delivery platforms. These platforms include:

  • Basic familiarization lectures for pre-commissioning crews
  • Sophisticated computer based training applications
  • WEB based training applications

AMSEC is currently utilizing an approach for just-in-time training for sailors accomplishing complex/mission critical tasks on new and updated systems/equipment.  The approach incorporates a computer management instruction (CMI) shell to manage and track student progress.  This training approach is capable of being integrated with other logistic products and workload reduction projects presently being tested and implemented by the Navy.

Our staff includes training specialists and subject matter experts with extensive experience in delivering training in various types of media.  One of our main concerns in the development of training is to ensure the training delivered meets the needs of our customer's students.  AMSEC's current training program efforts include:

  • Familiarization lectures for New construction CVN68 Class Aircraft Carriers
  • Hull Mechanical and Electrical (HM&E) system training for SEAWOLF Class submarines
  • SEAWOLF Watchstation Qualification Computer Based training programs
  • SPAWAR communication system computer based operator and maintenance training
